Rotator: A Multifunctional Marvel by Tianyang Yuan

Award-winning designer Tianyang Yuan has unveiled the Rotator, a revolutionary multifunctional mobile phone holder that integrates wireless charging, Bluetooth speaker, and adjustable screen brightness and sound control. The Rotator is designed to provide maximum convenience and functionality for users, addressing the limitations of existing phone holders.

The Rotator stands out with its unique ability to rotate as a mobile phone holder, offering two charging methods: flat charging and angled charging as a phone stand. It also features two support bars that allow users to adjust the speaker volume and phone screen brightness, enhancing the overall user experience.

This innovative design is shaped using advanced CNC machining technology and metal 3D printing, featuring an aluminum case, wireless quick charging coil, wireless charging chip, and acrylic panel. With dimensions of 90mm in width, 90mm in depth, and 100mm in height, the Rotator is a sleek and versatile addition to any tech-savvy individual's collection.

Tianyang Yuan's design team, including Wenkai Xue, Jian Sun, Jingye Wei, and others, played a crucial role in bringing the Rotator to life. The project commenced in January 2021 at LAFA Industrial Design Studio and concluded in December 2021 at the National Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center of Industrial Design in LAFA.

With its focus on enhancing user convenience, the Rotator offers three primary functions: serving as a phone holder, providing wireless charging, and functioning as a Bluetooth speaker. Users can charge their phones while enjoying music or videos, with the added convenience of adjusting volume and brightness using the support sticks. The design also incorporates ergonomic principles, offering two angles for phone placement to cater to different user preferences.

Tianyang Yuan, a talented designer and creative strategist from Shenyang, China, has been recognized for her exceptional work with the Rotator. Her dedication to innovation and user-centric design has earned her the prestigious Iron A' Design Award in the Digital and Electronic Device Design category in 2022.
