FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Yinshi Shanfang, a project by Kingdom Kuo, is a revolutionary take on the traditional Chinese health restaurant. The design breaks away from convention by utilizing original wood and stone materials, complemented by soft accessories, to create an artistic and unconventional ambiance. The integration of waterscapes and natural landscapes results in a space that harmoniously blends nature and modern architectural aesthetics.
The 600-square meter project aims to establish a pure ecological atmosphere of natural indifference and tranquility. Through a deep understanding of the interaction between space and architecture, the design reflects a Zen-like mood, offering guests a unified feeling of visual and psychological harmony upon entering the restaurant.
Completed in December 2018, the project in Shanxi showcases a deep connection to nature, with rockery backgrounds and a service desk that sets a simple, quiet tone. The use of wild bacteria-shaped accessories under the light complements the restaurant's theme, highlighting an elegant and noble flavor.
Kingdom Kuo's innovative approach to the design challenges traditional Chinese concepts, creating semi-closed circular partitions that ensure privacy without a sense of constriction. This unique spatial layout seamlessly connects different areas, organically blending functionality with ancient Chinese aesthetics, evoking a Zen charm.
The project was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in 2020, recognizing its outstanding and creatively ingenious design that authentically redefines the dining experience, incorporating best practices in art, science, design, and technology.
