Eight Sleep launches Mission Sleep Fitness, a galactic recap campaign allowing users to explore their 2022 sleep data in a unique avatar-based story format within the Eight Sleep app.

Eight Sleep, the worldâs first sleep fitness company, has unveiled its latest offering, Year in Sleep 2022: Mission Sleep Fitness. This innovative campaign offers members an interactive journey through their sleep metrics, presented in a captivating galactic design within the Eight Sleep app. Users can explore their personalized sleep data for 2022 in a visually engaging format, complete with unique avatars based on their health and sleep metrics.
The project, which commenced in October 2022 and concluded in December 2022, was a collaborative effort involving the Eight Sleep design team, including Jisoo Sim, Ryan Groffie, Sabina Blankenberg, Frances Arnautou, Benjamin Doyle, Nick Xitco, and Maria Salgado. Leveraging technologies such as React, Javascript, SVG animation, and After Effects, the team created a dynamic and interactive in-app experience akin to an Instagram story, allowing users to engage with their sleep data in a novel way.
To ensure the campaign's success, the design team worked closely with Eight Sleep's data team to curate the most compelling sleep insights for users. The challenge lay in presenting complex health and sleep data in an engaging, accessible manner while maintaining scientific accuracy. The result is a visually stunning and informative experience that provides members with a deeper understanding of their sleep patterns and overall well-being.
