Marta Perla's Siro Lamp Unveils a Radiant Tribute to Sirius

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Marta Perla's Siro Lamp

Designer Marta Perla pays homage to the celestial harmony with the Siro lamp, drawing inspiration from the brightest white dwarf star, Sirius. The table lamp's unique design unleashes a radiant light, creating an illusion of perfect equilibrium with its bi-dimensional shapes. Siro's singularity lies in its minimal depth, made possible by advanced LED technology, and it comes in two sizes and colors: bronze and brass.

The Siro lamp gives indirect LED light in metal, featuring a matt black base and lens-shaped reflector in painted satin bronze or satin gold glaze aluminum, painted in white inside. The lamp's components are made by die casting, and it respects classic rules of interaction, allowing the flow of light to be adjusted via a dimmer.

The project commenced in September 2018 in Rome and concluded in January 2019 in Milan. Siro was exhibited in Salone del Mobile in April 2019 and in Shanghai Exhibition Center in September 2019. The lamp was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in 2021 for its outstanding expertise and innovation in lighting products and fixtures design.
