Gemma Bernal presents Suggestions, a tableware collection designed to enhance the presentation and experience of gastronomic creations, inspired by chefs for chefs, released at Ambiente 2019 in Frankfurt.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Gemma Bernal's tableware collection, Suggestions, is a result of a year and a half of design in Barcelona and production in the UAE by RAK. The collection is a comprehensive solution for chefs, offering a wide range of items tailored to meet the specific needs of haute cuisine. The design team, including CEO Renu Oomen, Technical Manager Senthil Kumar, Marketing Manager Bertrand Lecante, Sales Manager Svend Bodry, and Europe Manager Claude Peiffer, collaborated to create a collection that not only serves the functional needs of chefs but also elevates the presentation and experience of gastronomic creations.
Featuring items made of porcelain using various production technologies such as isostatic press and high-pressure injection, Suggestions stands out with its unique properties. From solving specific serving situations like keeping caviar fresh on the table to enhancing the buffet experience with porcelain lilies that allow for comfortable stand-up eating, each piece in the collection is designed with a purpose. The collection also addresses practical concerns such as separating fluids from meat on the plate, ensuring an optimal dining experience.
One of the standout features of the collection is the innovative design of items like "Amaze" and "Chill," which not only serve the functional purpose of keeping food in optimal condition but also engage the senses of the users, offering unexpected presentations and the possibility of introducing aromas. The design team's extensive research involved collaborating with chefs to understand their needs and creatively addressing the challenges faced in gastronomic services. This dedication to understanding and meeting the real needs of chefs led to the creation of a collection that goes beyond mere shapes, focusing on enhancing the gastronomic experience as a whole.
