Chien-Neng Chang, a renowned designer from Taichung City, Taiwan, has unveiled his latest project, Dawn, a unique residential space that redefines modern aesthetics. Completed in January 2021, this 105 square meter project stands out for its departure from the minimal Nordic color palette commonly used in residential designs. Instead, Chien-Neng Chang has opted for a simple yet gracious style, creating a space that exudes elegance and comfort.

One of the distinctive features of Dawn is the use of sustainable green coating materials, a departure from traditional wall materials. This not only adds an eco-friendly touch but also allows for easy color changes, enabling a versatile and dynamic design. The project has been recognized with the prestigious Iron A' Design Award in 2021, acknowledging its practicality, innovation, and fulfillment of professional and industrial requirements.

The design process involved meticulous attention to architectural techniques, natural ventilation, and the infusion of natural light to achieve a comfortable balance between man and nature. The space's flow has been precisely tailored, with every nook and corner designed for a specific purpose. Soft, elegant colors shine through the well-selected decorations, adding a glamorous touch to the space.

Chien-Neng Chang's design prowess is further demonstrated in overcoming challenges such as a low girder, which has been ingeniously transformed into a feature that connects the dining and living areas. With the right lighting, this originally limiting element now creates a sense of spaciousness and openness, adding depth to the room.
