Architect Davood Boroojeni Unveils Villa Gilbam, a Spectacular Residential House Design

Davood Boroojeni's Villa Gilbam is a testament to innovative architectural design, drawing inspiration from the surrounding mountains and the local climate to create a shared space at the heart of the building with extraordinary views. The project, situated on the slopes of a mountain in northern Iran, seamlessly integrates form and function to deliver a unique residential experience.

The design of Villa Gilbam stands out due to its careful consideration of the impact of climate and neighborhood on its design, as well as the utilization of exposed materials to create an indigenous feel while minimizing environmental impact. The project, which commenced in June 2016 and concluded in December 2016 in Tehran, is a result of extensive research, field observations, and a deep understanding of the client's needs.

One of the key technical achievements of Villa Gilbam is the strategic placement of two console volumes at ground level and the first floor, optimizing light and views without obstructing each other. The project's unique approach to material disclosure and its focus on reducing energy and construction material consumption set it apart as a forward-thinking architectural endeavor.
