Introducing Tao: A Jewellery Collection by Xiaoqian Wang

Xiaoqian Wang, a Beijing-based jewellery and product designer, has unveiled the mesmerizing Tao jewellery collection, drawing inspiration from the Chinese traditional Taichi pattern. The collection, awarded Bronze in A' Jewelry, Eyewear and Watch Design Award in 2021, redefines wearable art with its unique spatial thinking and diversified "Taichi" structures, offering movement and multi-way wearabilities.

The Tao collection is a testament to Wang's creative prowess, combining traditional craftsmanship with modern technology. Each piece is meticulously crafted using a combination of 3D modeling, 3D printing, and handcrafting techniques, resulting in stunning brass jewellery with silver or 24k gold plating.

With the Taichi pattern's 3000-year history in China symbolizing perfection, harmony, and infinite potential, Wang's collection encapsulates the essence of the pattern, translating its energy into vibrant and graceful jewellery. The designs feature unique interaction elements, such as rotating earrings and adjustable necklaces, enhancing the wearer's experience with dynamic and versatile pieces.
