Existence Chair: A Unique Perspective on Furniture Design

JINCHENG ZHANGLIU introduces the "Existence" chair, a thought-provoking piece of architectural furniture designed to stimulate the mind. Crafted from stainless steel, the chair's design reflects the essence of existence and the human mind.

The "Existence" chair measures 1000mm in width, 800mm in depth, and 600mm in height, and was conceptualized and produced between May 2019 and January 2021 in California and China, respectively.

The chair's design process involved meticulous research, including sketching, creating small-scale mockups, and developing real-scale prototypes. The result is a chair that embodies decisiveness, order, and stillness, encouraging individuals to engage their attention and embrace the freedom of their thoughts.

JINCHENG ZHANGLIU, the Co-founder of Rán, is an accomplished architectural experience and furniture designer with a focus on creating immersive architectural experiences. With a portfolio spanning the USA and China, JINCHENG ZHANGLIU's work encompasses branding, retail, and hospitality projects.
