Meduse: A Syncretic Masterpiece

Renowned artist ana maria reque sotelo unveils the Meduse Sculpture Lamp, a stunning fusion of Peruvian and Italian cultures. Inspired by the marine habitat, this unique creation reflects a new syncretic language through the deconstruction of traditional art forms. The lamp integrates Raku ceramic from Peru and Murano glass from Italy, harmonized with multicolored LED lighting, resulting in a collector's piece that transcends boundaries.

Reque's meticulous process involves a 20-day drying period, followed by a Raku firing at 930 degrees celsius, creating distinctive metallic and iridescent reflections. The lamp's dimensions of 36cm in diameter and 48cm in height make it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, offering captivating light and shadow effects on any surface.

Meduse has garnered acclaim at prestigious events such as the Venice Glass Week 2020, leaving a lasting impression with its innovative approach to art and design.
