Experiential Mercedes Benz Center Redefines Vehicle Showrooms

Architect.Bernard Gomez has unveiled the Mercedes Benz Center, a groundbreaking project in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The center redefines the traditional vehicle showroom and service center, offering a unique experiential interaction with the Mercedes brand. The design, characterized by understated yet impactful forms, features a series of terraced pavilions linked by ramps, with the showroom display pavilion taking center stage. This design approach preserves the horizontality of the site while providing maximum exposure for vehicle exhibits.

The Mercedes Benz Center stands out with its multi-level green terraces and ramped vehicular access, allowing vehicles to be seamlessly integrated into key activity spaces such as the Show Car area, Vintage Museum, and Auditorium. This innovative approach facilitates functions and product launches, creating a dynamic environment that engages visitors and enhances the overall brand experience.

Notably, the Mercedes Benz Center has been recognized with the prestigious Bronze A' Design Award in the Architecture, Building, and Structure Design category for its outstanding and creatively ingenious design.
