Giyoon Kim introduces the A68, a groundbreaking electric hybrid cruiser yacht inspired by the world's largest iceberg. The design aims to address the escalating environmental concerns by offering a sustainable and innovative solution in the form of a yacht. The A68 project was conceived in Seoul, Korea, between 2020 and 2021, and has been recognized with the prestigious Bronze A' Design Award in 2022.
The A68 stands out with its unique approach to yacht design, emphasizing the utilization of electric and hybrid technologies to reduce carbon emissions and promote environmental preservation. The yacht's hull incorporates advanced CFRP materials, providing low weight and high strength, while ensuring comfort and stability during cruising. With a length of 61 meters, the A68 can accommodate 53 guests and 17 crew members, offering a cruising speed of 18 knots and a maximum speed of 20 knots.
