Jiao Tang: A Futuristic Neptune-Inspired Restaurant Experience

Award-winning Mysterious Designer unveils Jiao Tang, a Neptune-themed hotpot restaurant, offering a dramatic five-sense experience in the heart of Chengdu, China. The restaurant, completed in January 2020, redefines dining space, incorporating elements from film, art, science, and technology to create an immersive and interactive atmosphere.

The 506 square meter space features mechanical device models made using 3D printing technology, innovative lighting designs, and a multifunctional dining table. Jiao Tang boasts a unique blend of materials, including steel plate, terrazzo, tempered glass, and frosted acrylic, resulting in a visually stunning and futuristic environment.

SSAD Studio, founded by Dr. Liang Chen and Dr. Wang Shixue, is the creative force behind Jiao Tang. The studio is known for its pioneering and experimental spirit, delivering top-level architecture, space, furniture, and device designs. Jiao Tang has been recognized with the prestigious Silver A' Design Award in 2020, highlighting its outstanding expertise and innovation.
