Aseel AlJaberi, a fourth-year Architecture student from Bethlehem, Palestine, has been awarded the Iron A' Design Award for her Andalusian-inspired beauty salon design, exhibited at Palestine Polytechnic University in 2019.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Aseel AlJaberi's Andalusian Beauty Salon design is a unique fusion of the Moroccan style and the usual styling area of a beauty salon. The design reflects the rich intricate carvings, decorative arches, and colorful fabrics typical of the Andalusian/Moroccan style. Divided into three main sections - the styling area, the reception, and the dispensary area - the design exudes a clear style and identity, creating a unique, elegant, and brightly colored space.
The 200-square meter salon is adorned with gypsum, wood, ceramic tiles, mosaic tiles, brass, leather, and geometric pattern wallpaper, showcasing the meticulous attention to detail and the use of a variety of textures to create visual interest. The design aims to provide clients with a feeling of luxury, comfort, and value, with multiple zones carefully divided based on function to maintain client satisfaction and comfort.
AlJaberi's design was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in 2020, recognizing its well-designed, practical, and innovative characteristics that meet professional and industrial requirements. The design integrates industry best practices and competent technical features, contributing to a better world through fulfillment and positive feelings.
