Revolutionary Care Center for Children Completed in Seoul in March 2021
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Renowned designer jaesung kim has unveiled the revolutionary Gwangjin Kium, a cutting-edge care center for children in Seoul. The facility, completed in March 2021, aims to provide intensive care for children aged 6 to 12 after school, bridging the care gap when parents are unable to do so. The design integrates bookstores and amusement facilities to stimulate creativity, imagination, and the five senses of the students, fostering open communication between teachers and children.
The Gwangjin Kium boasts a unique blend of static and dynamic spaces, eliminating elementary care blind spots and providing safe care services. The facility is equipped with module cabinet furniture, allowing for easy movement and interaction with students. The use of green and natural birch wood colors creates a comfortable and warm environment, promoting a sense of stability and tranquility.
Measuring 10,000mm x 13,000mm, the Gwangjin Kium is a testament to innovative design and thoughtful consideration of children's needs. The project began in December 2020 and was completed within a few months, showcasing the designer's commitment to timely and impactful solutions.
