Residential Apartment Design "Mountain in Heart" by Chih Chieh Tien

Chih Chieh Tien's "Mountain in Heart" residential apartment design in Taipei, Taiwan, is a unique blend of modern and vintage elements, creating an elegant and environmentally friendly living space. The apartment, spanning 125.6 square meters, was completed in December 2019 and received the Bronze A' Design Award in 2020.

The design features delicate layouts and detailed designs that cater to the homeowner's needs, transforming the original four-bedroom layout into a home with two master bedrooms, a dressing room, study room, and a bar counter, all exuding a simple yet sophisticated style.

Constructed with green building materials, including iron pieces, aluminum frame glass doors, painted veneers, stones, system boards, and ultra wear-resistant wood floors, the apartment maximizes natural light, reducing the need for artificial lighting and contributing to energy savings and reduced carbon emissions.

Chih Chieh Tien's design philosophy focuses on the interactive relationship between people and space layout, advocating for minimalistic yet functional designs that enhance the quality of life.
