FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
An Zhi, Zheng's innovative design transforms an 80 sqm warehouse into a multifunctional space that serves as an office, showroom, teaching studio, and presentation area. Inspired by the concept of a tile museum, the design highlights the tiles' color, texture, and other features, offering customers an aesthetic journey during their selection process.
The space features glass volumes and a staggered, detached design, giving it a weightless look. The flexible displays efficiently utilize space and lend the vertical surfaces various looks, creating a unique and versatile environment.
The design incorporates glass walls, gaps, display boards, and sliding doors to define the office boundary while offering versatility. Additionally, a meeting table with built-in tile storage racks adds a stylish look and practical functionality to the space.
The project, which started in April 2020, was completed in June 2020 in Taipei. The design approach involved treating tiles as artworks, adding new value to the showroom. The design team overcame creative and technical challenges to create a space that offers an intriguing and unique purchasing experience.
