Guardians: A Unique Blend of Modern Design and Zoomorphic Iconography

kamran Afshar Naderi presents Guardians, a limited-edition line of furniture that draws inspiration from ancient myths and zoomorphic iconography. The chairs, designed to be ergonomic and comfortable, make a positive connection between humans and animals through their unique design.

Utilizing state-of-the-art 3D printing combined with fiberglass technology and handcrafting, the Guardians furniture set stands out with its modern, geometrical design and its ability to evoke energy and agility through its animal-inspired forms.

The project, awarded the Silver A' Design Award, was presented at the Patternitecture exhibition in Tehran in August 2021, showcasing the designer's dedication to creating top-of-the-line, creative, and professionally remarkable designs.

Inspired by black panthers, the Guardians furniture set encourages users to engage in critical thinking and reasoning, fostering an emotional connection between the users and the animal-inspired designs. The project's main challenge was to transform animal shapes into pieces that convey the same emotion, combining performance and aesthetics while meeting the market demand for modern furniture with protective symbols.

Through meticulous research on animal anatomy, kamran Afshar Naderi successfully created a furniture set that not only serves a functional purpose but also evokes positive emotions and wonder, setting a remarkable standard of excellence in the world of furniture design.
