Mizukami Village Brand Strawberry "Yukidokemitsu" Expresses the Essence of Winter Harvest

Renowned designer SHINGO FURUSHO introduces "Yukidoke Mitsu," a captivating fruits package design that encapsulates the essence of sweet strawberries harvested amidst melting snow. Crafted in 2019 at the request of Mizukami Village, Kumamoto Prefecture, this unique package design showcases the high-sugar content brand-name strawberry, "Yukidokemitsu," from the picturesque Mizukami Village in Kumamoto Prefecture.

The concept behind the design is to evoke the image of sweet strawberries being picked as the snow melts, set against the backdrop of the beautiful, high-elevation Mizukami Village. The package, realized using red foil stamping on a pasted paper box, measures W242mm x D160mm x H57mm, exuding a sense of luxury and exclusivity.

SHINGO FURUSHO's innovative approach to the "Yukidoke Mitsu" design overcame the challenge of visually expressing the concept of "sweet strawberries" through thoughtful naming, logo, and package design. The result is a visually striking and evocative package that captures the imagination and embodies the unique story of the winter harvest.
