Polar Animation by Rocky Fong

Hong Kong-based visual artist, Rocky Fong, has crafted a poignant animation titled "Polar" that serves as a touching reminder of the neglected creatures in our world. Inspired by the real-life sighting of a hungry and exhausted young polar bear in the suburbs of Norilsk, Siberia, far from its natural habitat, Fong's animation aims to evoke empathy and awareness for the plight of such creatures.

Fong's creation, which won the Bronze A' Design Award in 2021, is a testament to his creative prowess and dedication to shedding light on important environmental issues. The animation, set against the backdrop of the 2020 Winter, seeks to convey a message of solidarity and compassion, emphasizing the need to recognize and support all beings, especially during challenging times.
