R Fitness, a new fitness brand, introduces a cutting-edge gym design in Shanghai, China, created by Xu Studio, to provide professional strength training in a visually stimulating environment.

Xu Studio's Unique Gym Design for R Fitness
Xu Studio's design for R Fitness incorporates light as a central element to shape the space and inspire a desire for sports and fitness among students. The suspended luminous characters and the dramatic interplay of light and red color create a visually engaging atmosphere, enhancing the fitness experience.
The project covers a total of 550 square meters and features a unique red box-shaped aisle composed of LED lamp tubes and stainless steel water corrugated mirrors, adding a sense of drama to the space.
To match the LED lights, the designers used slashed metal meshes to cover the entire space, creating a strong sense of movement and extension.
Founded in 2016, Xu Studio is a Shanghai-based design company known for its international architectural, interior, and furniture design services. The studio's commitment to using simple and realistic materials, along with professional lighting design, creates flexible and changeable spaces, leaving unlimited possibilities for the future of space.
