Renowned Korean artist Seung woo, Park showcases a captivating illustration representing South Korea in the 2017 World Baseball Classic, fusing traditional art with digital graphics to promote Korean culture.

Seung woo, Park's artwork for the 2017 World Baseball Classic (WBC) project is a mesmerizing fusion of traditional Korean painting techniques and digital graphics. The illustration intricately details the attractions and national treasures of the Republic of Korea, featuring prominent baseball players amidst natural elements.
Inspired by the four major leaguers in Korea and the legends of East Asian constellations, the artwork was created using traditional Korean brush techniques and then digitized using Adobe's Photoshop. The final piece was produced as a 1200mm x 735mm art poster, showcasing the unique cultural and historical values of Korea to a global audience.
Seung woo, Park's dedication to promoting Korean culture and values through his art led to the incorporation of traditional Korean architecture and cultural styles in the work. The artwork beautifully captures the harmony of yin and yang, symbolized by the Korean national flower, mugunghwa, and the architectural style, with Korean baseball players at the center of the composition.
Released worldwide on March 6, 2017, the artwork project concluded on March 23, gaining recognition at the prestigious A' Design Award in 2021, where it was honored with the Iron A' Design Award in the Graphics, Illustration, and Visual Communication Design category.
