Ying Zhang's latest project, "Light," is a groundbreaking sales office design that reimagines the use of light to create dynamic and emotionally engaging spaces. Set in Shenzhen City, China, the project is set to begin construction in October 2020, offering a unique and immersive experience for visitors and occupants alike.

Ying Zhang's "Light" project is a testament to the transformative power of light within architectural spaces. Inspired by the ever-changing interplay of light and architectural structures, the design aims to evoke a range of emotions through carefully curated lighting atmospheres. From the quiet elegance of the entrance hall to the captivating central sand table area, each space within the 1,200sqm sales office is thoughtfully designed to guide and engage visitors.
Utilizing wood finishings, marble, brushed stainless steel, and wooden grating, the design embodies a harmonious blend of materials and textures, creating a visually stunning and functional environment. The project's technical specifications include dimensions of 68000mmx32600mmx10000mm, emphasizing the grand scale and meticulous attention to detail.
Ying Zhang, alongside the design team led by Mingzhi Chen, overcame numerous creative and technical challenges to bring the "Light" project to life. By leveraging extensive research on the use of light to shape spatial experiences, the team successfully crafted a design that seamlessly transitions from quiet and elegant to open and dynamic, offering a multi-faceted journey for occupants and visitors.
