Dana Freud Unveils Amsalem Leisure, a Responsive and Family-Friendly Travel Website

Dana Freud, a prominent designer, has unveiled Amsalem Leisure, a responsive and family-oriented website designed to revolutionize the online vacation planning experience. Inspired by the intimate and family-oriented atmosphere of Amsalem Tours, the website aims to translate the palpable ambience of their offices into a digital platform, creating an amiable environment for online users. Amsalem Leisure offers a unique booking system for flights, hotels, car rentals, and nearby attractions, all while reflecting the core values of the company.

The website's design thinking methodology involved brainstorming sessions with a multidisciplinary team from the tour company to generate innovative and diverse ideas. With dynamic and responsive dimensions, the website automatically adjusts to various screen sizes and device types without compromising its design. The warm atmosphere and family-oriented sentiment throughout the design reflect the core values of the company, creating a comfortable and emotionally connected experience for visitors.

The project, which commenced in October 2015 and concluded in September 2016, was the result of extensive research, including qualitative interviews with employees and users to understand the target audience and desired user experience. The website was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in 2020, recognizing its well-designed, practical, and innovative approach that meets professional and industrial requirements.

Dana Freud, the lead product designer at XRHealth and former editor-in-chief of "Pixel Perfect," brings a multi-year background in user experience and interface design to her work. With a bachelor's degree in industrial design from HIT academy, Freud's design expertise has been recognized with prestigious accolades, including the A' Design Award for Amsalem Leisure.
