Shanghai Huayuan Industrial Co., Ltd. introduces Expo Village Plot B, a residential development that retains the existing urban fabrics and facades of Shanghai Expo Village, creating an ecological, green residential community with a timeless charm and modernism. The project, located in South Pier Street, Pudong New District, Shanghai, China, was initiated on January 1, 2019, and completed on December 31, 2022.

The residential development stands out through its order in spaces, light, and structures, offering future dwellers better sensory experiences. It integrates a series of spaces that vary with light and structures and adopts distinctive architectural design languages, fusing cultural and artistic elements into the structural order.

The facade design showcases a brand new living concept, using glass and aluminum panels to produce a lightweight visual effect. The modular facade design helps unify architectural expressions, while the glass and balconies bring in abundant fresh air, sunlight, and river views.

The project forms a lower west skyline and a higher east one, generating a continuous, complete urban surface. It features a multi-layered greening layout, appropriately dividing private spaces between public spaces and residential building clusters. The design also utilizes the height differences of various layers of space to enclose a garden-like livable community.
