Tr88 House: A Dreamlike Recreational Complex

Shahrooz Zomorrodi introduces Tr88 House, a 100,000 sq ft recreational complex in Dubai, inspired by childhood nightmares. The complex features a food hall, kids play area, trampoline, laser tag, mini-golf, kids club, and rooftop lounge, creating an immersive environment for all ages.

The project, which began in February 2020, is an architectural marvel, incorporating surreal objects, lighting fixtures, and handmade furniture. The design challenges were overcome by balancing space areas based on family proportions and user ages, importing and installing 180 tree trunks, and addressing structural and acoustical considerations.

Tr88 House was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in 2023 for its outstanding expertise, innovation, and remarkable level of excellence in interior space, retail, and exhibition design.
