Sun Mori: Redefining Green and Healthy Living

Genchi Architecture Construction Co Ltd. introduces Sun Mori, a residential building located in the Jiufenzi area of Annan District in Tainan City. The 3188 square meter property features 6 floors above ground and 1 floor below ground, with a total of 17 residences. Sun Mori is adjacent to 5,358 trees and 220,000 shrubs, offering a natural ecological waterscape with a permeability rate of 70 percent and a green cover rate of 60 percent.

The building incorporates reinforced soul clay construction, double-layer glass with nf nano grade ceramic thermal insulation film, metal brick, solar photovoltaic panels, woodworking, tiles, paint, stone, hydropower, and weak electricity. The project finished in March 2022 in Tainan, Taiwan.

Architectural Design by Bor-Sen Chang aims to achieve the perfect balance between nature and architecture, with a dedication to architectural craftsmanship and storytelling. The large white wall with elegant flowing lines and the curved three-dimensional glass balcony harmonize the flowing language of the winding wetlands in front.

Only three residential units are allocated on each standard floor, with each occupying an outward-facing corner of the building to enhance ventilation and lighting. The building volume has three green lines of defense to implement comprehensive epidemic prevention, including a balcony with a drip irrigation system, a green corridor, and the adoption of the river park in front of the building site.

Genchi Architecture Construction Co Ltd. was awarded Bronze in A' Architecture, Building and Structure Design Award in 2023 for Sun Mori, recognizing the project's outstanding and creatively ingenious design that authenticates experience and resourcefulness, incorporating best practices in art, science, design, and technology.
