ZICCA Design, led by Tsutomu Tojo, has launched the "Another Japan Yamagata" website, a captivating blend of traditional Japanese Zen spirit and contemporary hotel functionalities. The site is strategically positioned to attract repeat visitors to the Yamagata Prefecture, offering a unique visual journey through the region's cultural and natural wonders.

The website's distinctive appeal lies in its ability to visually convey the essence of the region, leveraging the power of images to evoke the allure of Yamagata. By seamlessly integrating traditional Zen aesthetics with modern hotel features, the site provides an immersive experience, igniting the desire to explore the prefecture in visitors.

Developed as a responsive website, "Another Japan Yamagata" ensures an optimal display across various screen sizes, enhancing user experience and accessibility. The project, which commenced in December 2016 in Yamagata, Japan, involved extensive research and direct interviews with foreign tourists to identify compelling content for the travel destination.

The design team overcame the challenge of supporting eight languages by conducting user surveys in different countries, analyzing preferences, and incorporating the findings into the website's design. The result is a multilingual platform that resonates with a global audience, effectively capturing the essence of Yamagata's appeal.
