WSD Design Founder Binglin Liu Showcases "Harmony" in Zhongnan Binjiang

Binglin Liu, founder and art director of WSD design, has unveiled the captivating Zhongnan Binjiang project, which recently received the prestigious Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category. The project, inspired by the concept of "Harmony," reflects a sense of tranquility and sophistication, offering a serene retreat from the hustle and bustle of modern life.

With a modern and minimalist design approach, Zhongnan Binjiang exudes an air of luxury while maintaining a subtle elegance. The use of high-grade gray as the primary color, complemented by shades of gray-blue and indigo, creates a peaceful ambiance, ideal for fostering a sense of calm amidst the chaos of everyday life.

Constructed using birch, fabric, metal, and composite materials, the project features an exhibition space comprising two model rooms. The design process, which spanned from December 2018 to March 2019, involved meticulous attention to detail and a deep understanding of the concept of "Harmony" as depicted in the Doctrine Of The Mean, a fundamental Chinese philosophical text.

Liu's innovative approach to interior and soft clothing design has earned him recognition for his ability to seamlessly blend culture, art, and design, resulting in captivating and functional creations.
