Dandelion Seed: Speaker Light Inspired by Nature

Mohammad Mahdi Najafi introduces "Dandelion Seed," a speaker light design inspired by the life stages of a dandelion. The design aims to bring attention to the often-overlooked beauty of plants and provide a meaningful and unique experience for users.

The Dandelion Seed features a 360-degree speaker with soft light, creating a sense of levitation through magnetic field technology. This combination of aesthetics and technology aims to provide users with an unforgettable experience, while also offering a way to unwind and relieve stress.

Constructed using glass-blowing techniques, the design incorporates a hollow glass ball with LED lights and a magnet to create the levitating effect. The speaker can be connected to devices via Bluetooth and features a unique charging method. The design also includes an external cover to protect the interior ball in unexpected situations, such as power outages.

Najafi's creation won the Iron A' Design Award in the Digital and Electronic Device Design category in 2021, recognizing its practicality, innovation, and integration of industry best practices. The Dandelion Seed project was initiated in Esfahan, Iran, in October 2020 and completed in December 2020.

Mohammad Mahdi Najafi, an Iranian designer, draws inspiration from natural forms and aims to create designs that resonate with audiences. His studio in Isfahan is equipped for design services and building prototypes, and he has received three national design awards for his innovative creations.
