Ebetsu Tsutaya Books, a lifestyle bookstore in Japan, is a unique space designed to offer visitors a framed view of the forest and a sense of unity. The bookstore is divided into three blocks, each representing "Mind", "Life", and "Food", and is built using raw materials, locally produced bricks, concrete finished flooring, exposed structural steel, and furniture made with wood and steel.

The project, which started in April 2016 and completed in August 2018, is located in Ebetsu, Hokkaido, Japan. The bookstore aims to create a tranquil atmosphere for visitors to enjoy a Slow-Life lifestyle within a comfortable space.

After completion, the bookstore has been actively contributing to the local culture by hosting nearly 50 events monthly and over 500 throughout the year, playing a central part in the local community and offering much more than public buildings in the city.

In order to create a contrast to the greenery of the surrounding natural environment, bricks from three local companies were used for the exterior finish material, with the expectation that they will age beautifully over time. The bookstore was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in 2020 for its outstanding and creatively ingenious design that contributes to quality of life improvements.
