Discover the award-winning residential house "Blended Into The Forest" designed by Mateusz Zajkowski, located near Warsaw, Poland, completed in 2020.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Mateusz Zajkowski, the renowned architect behind Z3Z ARCHITEKCI, has created a masterpiece with the residential house "Blended Into The Forest." The design was inspired by the surrounding old pine forest, aiming to integrate the house into the existing trees and unite it with the forest. The use of almost black sheet metal, along with wood and landscape elements, has resulted in a unique and harmonious blend with the natural surroundings.
Spanning 329 square meters over two floors, the house is a testament to innovative design and sustainable construction practices. The challenges of preserving the forest while constructing the house led to the use of materials such as sheet metal and cedar wood, creating a visually striking yet environmentally conscious structure.
Designed to provide constant interaction with nature, the house features large windows that offer panoramic views of the surrounding greenery. The interior spaces are characterized by a minimalist aesthetic, with white plaster walls and concrete floors, allowing the natural surroundings to take center stage.
