No.37 Studio unveils a modern residential interior design project, Streamlined Arc, completed in Aug. 2021 in Taoyuan City, Taiwan, offering a unique blend of functionality and aesthetic appeal.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
No.37 Studio presents Streamlined Arc, a cutting-edge interior design project that redefines modern living spaces. Inspired by the homeowner's frequent travels and the need for a calming sanctuary amidst high-intensity work pressure, the design incorporates streamlined arc shapes in various elements of the house, such as the ceiling, desks, glass doors, and full-length mirrors. This innovative approach not only interprets visual softness but also metaphorically symbolizes the freedom of flying in the sky.
The 99-square meter space features a newly built single-story residence with a reconfigured layout that enhances user experience. The entryway floor showcases pattern tiles, separating the public and private areas, while the walls in the public domain are adorned with architectural concrete, creating a healing ambiance. The design also incorporates a customized circular arch vista in the entryway, offering additional functions such as lighting, storage, and a shoe area. The study and kitchen areas are defined by glass sliding doors, promoting visual transparency and family interaction while maintaining privacy.
Streamlined Arc stands out with its unique features, including a two-color mirror that extends the depth of field of view, a built-in storage island in the kitchen area, and a main bathroom adorned with a variety of tile materials and metallic edges, exuding a low-luxury hotel style. The design seamlessly integrates functionality and aesthetics, offering a space that reflects the homeowner's lifestyle and needs.
