Decade The Love: A Unique Coffee House Design

Touch Design's Yong Zhang introduces Decade The Love, a pioneering coffee house in Tianjin advocating a slow lifestyle with music criticism, culture, and fashionable products. The cafe aims to provide an island of ideals and soft hearts in the fast-paced urban life.

The design utilizes classic white orange terrazzo and large glass windows to create a simple and transparent effect, introducing abundant light into the narrow space. The cafe's architectural language is formed by mirrored stainless steel and symbolic linear lights, providing an artistic journey of records and coffee.

Inspired by the owner's collection of over 30,000 old records and rare posters, Decade The Love integrates coffee, culture, art, and music to carry the dreams of its clients. Overcoming the challenge of a narrow and dark street shop, the design maximizes the benefits for the owners while adding a sense of love and ceremony for coffee.
