FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
The Dawn, a residential project by Hao-Yun, Chi and Hsing-Hung, Chen, draws inspiration from the historical stories of Beitou, hot spring culture, and natural resources. It seamlessly integrates biological and humanistic elements into the interior space, creating a fusion of Japanese Zen and modern aesthetics. The design aims to satisfy the desire of body and soul, allowing inhabitants to immerse themselves in the natural beauty of the surroundings.
The project, located in the hot spring area of Taipei, introduces unique natural resources and rich local culture, utilizing materials such as granite stone, gardens, water features, and natural light to create a space that breathes and talks to nature and humanities. The overall interior is carried out from outside to inside, creating a natural atmosphere that enhances the indoor experience in vision, touch, and smell.
Constructed with a focus on the linkage between architectural elements and indoor space, The Dawn utilizes solid wood, air-faced concrete, natural stone material, and light to create a coherent vocabulary, aiming to blur the boundaries between the environment, architecture, and interior to establish the warmest atmosphere.
