Office Design with Traditional Chinese Cultural Elements

Eason Zhu, along with the design team, has unveiled the Huanyu Entertainment Art Center, a 2940m² office space located in Hengdian, China. The design is a comprehensive cultural center that reorganizes the relationship with people, film and television, originality, and space, while expressing the brand culture of the Tujia nationality and traditional Chinese culture.

The design features a blend of inheritance and innovation, focusing on quality and declaring the brand culture of the Tujia nationality and film and television. The office space incorporates elements from various Chinese dynasties, utilizing faux finish, paper art, metal fixtures, acrylic, and other modern techniques to showcase traditional Chinese craftsmanship.

The project, completed from December 2020 to July 2021, faced the challenge of integrating traditional Chinese elements into a modern space. The design team overcame this challenge by using simple and modern methods to display these items, allowing visitors to have an immersive experience and feel the different cultural styles of each dynasty.
