WE Design's Office Lobby Redefines Traditional Logistics Spaces

Renowned designer Simon Cheng has unveiled a groundbreaking project at Dongyu Logistics Park in Yiwu, Zhejiang, China. The newly designed office lobby, inspired by bar codes and containers in the logistics industry, reflects the industry's characteristics while introducing a fresh, open, and efficient workspace.

Located in Yiwu, Zhejiang, China, the 475 square meter office lobby challenges traditional logistics spaces by integrating elements of the industry into the design. The space features a mix of picking stations and logistics warehouses, creating a dynamic and energetic environment.

The office lobby is a testament to Cheng's innovative approach, utilizing alumina plate material to create a visually light and high-tech space. The design incorporates marble, aluminum metal, and strong color contrasts to infuse art into the environment, setting a new trend for logistics spaces.

Inspired by the most common bar code and container in the logistics industry, the designer works to create a free, open, efficient and cool office space that reflects the characteristics of the logistics industry, bringing a new trend to the traditional logistics industry.

Simon Cheng's WE Design has successfully reimagined the traditional office lobby, infusing it with the energy and dynamism of the logistics industry. The project, which commenced in April 2019 and concluded in May 2022, has received the prestigious Bronze A' Design Award in 2023, recognizing its outstanding and creatively ingenious design.
