FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Wei Keng Lee's Nature and Melody project is a testament to the seamless integration of natural elements into modern urban living. The house, designed for a couple with a passion for wine and food, features a multi-purpose dining room that exudes an elegant and comfortable ambiance for their daily routine. The design team's use of primitive textures and touches creates a personalized living space in the heart of a bustling downtown area.
The unique strength of this design lies in its seamless incorporation of the forest element throughout the entire space, creating an integral and comfortable environment that offers both spiritual rest and physical relaxation. The natural textures and humanistic geometry imbue the space with a sense of breathing, giving it a soul of its own.
Realized with a keen eye for detail, the living room features a harmonious blend of gray and wood tones, complemented by a black handmade texture tile floor and natural solid wood curve steps that enhance the spatial hierarchy. The wooden adjustable window-blinds not only contribute to the overall atmosphere but also provide effective light control while maintaining air permeability and light transmission.
One of the notable technical specifications of the project is its overall planning area of 229 square meters, offering a spacious and well-thought-out living space that seamlessly integrates the beauty of nature with modern design elements.
One of the most remarkable features of the Nature and Melody project is the wine cellar ambiance created in the dining room, reflecting the couple's passion for wine-tasting. The design team has ingeniously overcome the challenge of the windowless dining area by incorporating a soft ceiling and a light curtain ceiling with strip lights, allowing for the creation of different day and dusk scenes with varying lighting.
Ken&Ben DESIGN Studio, established in 2017, is the creative force behind this exceptional project. With a focus on industrial and home design projects, the studio has demonstrated a remarkable ability to blend art, science, design, and technology to create living spaces that contribute to quality of life improvements.
