Yanlai Xiao, of Chongqing Gucang Decoration Design Engineering Co., Ltd., has redefined urban living with the Sunshine Villa project. Located in the Country Garden Community, Enshi City, Hubei Province, China, this residence is a testament to the harmonious integration of nature and architecture. Completed on September 10, 2018, the villa offers a unique living experience that blurs the boundaries between indoor and outdoor spaces.

The 300-square-meter interior area and 261-square-meter garden area showcase the innovative approach to spatial planning and transformation. By relocating the original staircase and adjusting the living spaces to face the interior garden, Yanlai Xiao has minimized the impact of the outdoor environment on the living space, creating a sunny and natural living environment within the bustling city.

The project, which won the Iron A' Design Award in 2020, demonstrates Yanlai Xiao's commitment to creating well-designed, practical, and innovative spaces that meet professional and industrial requirements. The Sunshine Villa stands as a testament to the designer's ability to circumvent the disadvantages of street architecture and enhance the overall value of the villa through thoughtful spatial planning and transformation.
