Jus Tian Unveils Tea Yard, a Teahouse Project in Jinhong, Yunnan, Completed in July 2020

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Tea Yard: A Fusion of Bai Nationality Enclosure Pattern and Erhai Lake

Jus Tian, the renowned designer and founder of IND Design Company, has unveiled Tea Yard, a captivating teahouse project located in Jinhong, Yunnan. The design draws inspiration from the traditional enclosure pattern of the Bai nationality, integrating the outline of the Erhai Lake to shape the interior landscape. This unique concept aims to evoke the natural taste of Erhai Lake, offering patrons an artistic and serene space to savor Pu'er tea.

Spanning 860 square meters, the project is a testament to Jus Tian's innovative approach to space design. The teahouse features a distinctive layout that seamlessly integrates space boxes with a lush vegetation courtyard, providing visitors with an immersive experience of nature and relaxation. The interior, based on dark colors such as blue, gray, and brown, exudes simplicity and attention to detail, complemented by local rough stone, tough iron, and blue wood products, creating a tranquil and private ambiance.

Tea Yard is a harmonious blend of local tradition and modern design, incorporating the local traditional architectural pattern and vegetation courtyard into the interior. The project faced challenges related to privacy, architectural preservation, and cultural symbiosis, all of which were expertly overcome to create a space that seamlessly combines the tropical rainforest of Xishuangbanna with the ambiance of a traditional tea house.
