BT Space Office Design in Beitou District, Taipei City

BT Space Design presents a unique office design project located in Beitou District, northern Taiwan, inspired by the concept of floating to blend with the environment. The project, initiated in January 2021 and completed in March 2021, aimed to reflect and evolve the local culture, incorporating elements of humanity, history, and the environment to create a modern commercial space.

The two-story building, covering 274.38 square meters, features a suspended staircase extending upwards to enhance the visual strength, presenting a sleek, suspended, and light appearance. The use of recycled materials from the old building, transparent light boxes, and cold metal materials creates a penetrating space, offering a modern environment filled with humanity.

Retaining elements of the old building, the designer regenerated and utilized them as screens in the meeting area, reflecting beautiful patterns through lighting and shadow, creating a sense of rhythm and serving as a partition between meeting spaces. The design successfully overcame the challenge of creating a people-oriented space while highlighting its humanistic meaning.
