FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Wang Chun-Yen's Gray Color Gradient Interior Design

Wang Chun-Yen's Gray Color Gradient project is a remarkable interior design endeavor that focuses on redefining space for retired couples. The design, completed in Jan. 2020 in Taiwan, encompasses a 158.5 square meter single-story house with a terrace, catering to the needs of a simple, retired lifestyle.

The project's unique approach involves the use of natural materials, low-key color palettes, and innovative spatial planning to create a harmonious and functional living environment. The design seamlessly integrates the needs of different age groups, offering multi-faceted and perfect functions for the retired couple it serves.

Notably, the design features a private apartment with outstanding, stable, and humanistic intellectual through natural material selection, low-key color performance, and harmonious proportion. The space boasts a sense of calm, plainness, and texture, achieved through deliberate material selection and placement.

One of the key highlights of the design is the absence of standard partitions, allowing for a barrier-free and abundant daylighting window view, which significantly enlarges the sense of space within the house.

Wang Chun-Yen's meticulous attention to detail is evident in the use of rough-textured slate tiles for the TV wall in the living room, creating a sense of rhythm and texture. The integration of necessary electrical and mechanical pipelines in the wall ensures a clean and tidy appearance.

The project was awarded the prestigious Iron A' Design Award in 2022, recognizing its well-designed, practical, and innovative approach that meets professional and industrial requirements.

Wang Chun-Yen's Gray Color Gradient project stands as a testament to the designer's rational and sensual approach to life, emphasizing the co-construction of shapes with aesthetics to interpret the nature of space. It is a restoration of life, an appeal to humanity, an interpretation of aesthetics, and an expression of attentive and expert craftsmanship.
