Chih Ting Chen's MU Interior Design Unveils a Unique Single-Family Villa in New City, Taiwan
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Chih Ting Chen, of MU Interior Design, has unveiled "The Villa in Nature," a stunning single-family villa in New City, Taiwan, completed in May 2021. The house is a perfect embodiment of tranquility and stability, embracing greenery and bathing in sunshine, echoing the beauty of the mountains and forests through the use of stone, stucco, wood, and color. The design is tailored to the houseowner's preferences and needs, emphasizing natural light, ventilation, and a seamless interaction with the surrounding natural environment.
The villa, spanning four floors with each floor covering 83 square meters, features a public area, private areas, and unique spaces such as a fitness room, Buddhist hall, audio-visual room, dressing room, and SPA room. The outdoor terrace, made of wood, seamlessly extends the natural world into the living space, while large windows and transparent glass create a harmonious interaction between the inside and outside, filling the residence with a comfortable atmosphere.
Utilizing woodwork, rock chips, marble, iron parts, glass, baking paint, large picture wallpaper, and imported bricks, the design incorporates low-chroma colors to stabilize the mind and focus the eyes on the green shades of the mountains. The open floor layout reduces obstruction, creating a casual and relaxing atmosphere. The private spaces on the second and third floors are tailored to each family member's preferences and needs, with unique features such as a slide in the boy's room, linking upper and lower dimensions while adding a playful touch.
