Stone Language Tranquility: Residential Apartment Design

Po Feng Lee's Stone Language Tranquility project is a testament to the significance of art in demonstrating real human emotions and the mystery of the inner heart. Inspired by the proprietor's preference for dark colors and metallic materials, the design incorporates Swedish Terraco objects to create a tranquil and elegant atmosphere. The 132 square meter property features unique techniques such as inlaying Terraco stones and aluminum strips into stylish walls, providing each wall with extraordinary expression.

Innovative design choices, including the removal of original kitchen walls to create an open-style spatial area, contribute to the unique spatial quality of the apartment. The use of black iron pieces, grey stone-patterned polished tiles, and systematic furniture assembly based on woodwork techniques further enhances the visual texture of the space, creating a heart-calming environment.

The project, which won the Bronze A' Design Award in 2020, reflects Lee's commitment to incorporating best practices in art, science, design, and technology, ultimately contributing to improvements in quality of life.
