Boundary - A Unique Residential House Design by Guangzheng Li

Guangzheng Li's "Boundary" is a testament to innovative design, seamlessly merging two units into a single, harmonious space. The removal of the original movable wall and the strategic merging of functional areas have resulted in a space that prioritizes openness, privacy, and ample natural light. Inspired by the tranquility of nature, the design incorporates elements reminiscent of white clouds, the blue sea, and the earth, fostering a relaxing and meditative atmosphere.

The design's strength lies in its thoughtful approach, emphasizing comfort, meticulous human care, and the concept of intelligent living. By integrating smart and open layouts, the project achieves a perfect balance between order and function, exuding peace and stability in a quiet and artistic manner.

Utilizing innovative realization technology, the load-bearing column is covered with ceramic tiles and white latex paint, creating a bright and diverse home line. The clean, simple, and well-defined space, characterized by a harmonious blend of white and blue hues, evokes a sense of relaxation and meditation, akin to being surrounded by clouds and sea.

The project's technical specifications include the seamless transition between the Chinese and Western kitchen divisions, facilitated by a thin black frame sliding door and high-permeability glass. The 45-square-meter kitchen space, centered on the island, forms a back-shaped walking line, enhancing the overall sense of scale and warmth in family interactions.

Guangzheng Li's "Boundary" successfully blurs the boundaries between indoor and outdoor spaces, creating a visually captivating and harmonious environment. The design fosters a spacious and bright ambiance, with a smooth and comfortable walking route, allowing light to flow through the space, ultimately creating a serene and gentle home.

Recognizing the exceptional creativity and ingenuity of "Boundary," Guangzheng Li was honored with the Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2020.
