Ni Zhishuai's "Pass and Future" art work is a thought-provoking exploration of the intersection between tradition and technology. Inspired by the rapid development of human science and technology, this piece reimagines the classical Chinese literary figure, the Monkey King, through a fusion of graffiti and acrylic painting techniques. Originally created using acrylic on canvas and spray paint, "Pass and Future" measures 420mm in width, 20mm in depth, and 596mm in height. The project commenced in April 2020 in China and was exhibited in Shanghai in November 2020, garnering attention for its innovative approach to blending traditional cultural imagery with contemporary artistic expression.
