Residential Apartment Design "Prelude to Happiness"

Su- Hsiang Hung's "Prelude to Happiness" is a residential apartment design that seamlessly integrates materials and the environment to create a modern visual effect, setting the stage for a joyful living experience. The space features concealed storage solutions, including a black enamel cabinet and a hidden shoe cabinet, offering both functionality and design appeal. The designer's attention to detail is evident in the specially designed partition screen, which serves as a religious display while meeting the house owner's storage needs.

The lounge and dining room showcase a blend of dignified conservative grey and the house owner's favorite color, blue, creating a visually striking space. Large French windows allow natural light to flood the apartment, extending the visual space and embracing the outdoor scenery. The 135-square-meter property boasts a dining area with a long table, a red wine shelf, and an IH sensor stove, catering to the basic needs of the residents.

Completed on August 15th, 2018, in Taichung, Taiwan, "Prelude to Happiness" received the Iron A' Design Award in 2020 for its innovative and practical approach to interior space design. Su- Hsiang Hung's design philosophy emphasizes the seamless integration of functionality and aesthetics, creating spaces that cater to the unique needs and preferences of the residents.
