YU CHUN CHENG's Mellow Refined Residence

YU CHUN CHENG's Mellow Refined Residence, inspired by the hostess’s love of the milk-tea color, features simple lines and a warm, pleasant color scheme, blending Japanese simple and Nordic styles. The 165m2 residence emphasizes sustainable housing with a large amount of toxin-free green material used indoors, including Lotos cement for high moisture absorption and air permeability. The project finished in June 2021 in New Taipei City, Taiwan.

The design's unique properties include the use of toxin-free green material, emphasizing sustainable housing, and the integration of cabinetry of diverse functions into different spaces to meet the needs of the family of four for storage and neatness. The residence was awarded Iron in A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award in 2022 for its well-designed, practical, and innovative creations that meet professional and industrial requirements.

YU CHUN CHENG's Mellow Refined Residence showcases a blend of Japanese simple and Nordic styles, creating a warm and refined living space that emphasizes visual quality and moderate aesthetics. The design prioritizes a safe, smooth flow in the layout, especially in the children's rooms, and integrates abundant storage cabinetry to create a healthy and safe environment for growth.
