Shanju Restaurant by Yirong Yang

Yirong Yang, the co-founder and chief designer of M-Design, has redefined the Chinese dining experience with the innovative design of Shanju Restaurant in Foshan, China. The project, completed in May 2022, aims to carry forward the traditional Chinese healthy food culture and reshape the spirit of the times, offering city inhabitants a tranquil communication place.

In addition to serving healthy soup, Shanju Restaurant provides a serene oasis where art and elegance merge, capturing the Zen State and offering a sense of seclusion. The irregular surface of the stone, eroded by wind and rain, records the traces of nature, injecting profound energy into the space. The restaurant covers an area of 154.45 square meters and is a winner of the prestigious A' Design Award, receiving the Silver A' Design Award in 2023.

Yirong Yang's design for Shanju Restaurant has successfully integrated the traditional Chinese culture of eating healthily with a modern, tranquil dining environment, providing a unique and enriching experience for visitors. The project showcases M-Design's commitment to providing comprehensive design services in various fields, including architectural consultancy, interior space design, soft furnishing design, product design, and art IP planning and implementation.
