Icon: A Unique Bedroom Furnishing

Manolo Duran Diseño presents Icon, a bedroom furnishing that embodies the contrast of elements, creating a singular space for the majority of users. The headboard and Noa container elements form a personal bedroom furnishing, expressed through the minimalism of forms. The asymmetrical and balanced relationship with thin horizontal and vertical lines hosts soft courtesy lighting, creating a powerful visual image.

The design process involved an ergonomic standard and 3D creation processes, working the colors and textures with collaborating suppliers of the studio. The sustainable materials used include chipboard and MDF, with the construction process taking place in the GCH factory, known for its high production technology in the furniture manufacturing industry.

Icon's technical specifications include various elements such as the headboard, side tables, and drawers, offering multiple possibilities for configuration and customization. The Cosmo collection provides options for combining tones, textures, and finishes to create exclusive spaces that fulfill all design aspirations.

This project, which started in July 2019 and concluded in September 2020, was backed by extensive market research and a deep understanding of user needs. The design overcame challenges in balancing aesthetics, materials, and technologies while maintaining an adjusted manufacturing cost price.

Icon has been recognized with the prestigious Silver A' Design Award in 2021, highlighting its outstanding expertise, innovation, and remarkable level of excellence.
